Our clinic in Abbotsford is adding an Occupational Therapist to their interdisciplinary Pain Management program. As a core member of the clinical team, you will apply an understanding of your clients' job demands and environment to address the care and management of pain while enabling their return to work. You will collaborate with the team and use your expertise to help patients view their condition in a different light and teach the practical coping behaviours and management strategies they need to return to work. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to deliver the best care for clients experiencing acute or chronic pain and grow both their clinical and leadership skills. What you bring: You must be registered as a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia. You have 3+ years of experience demonstrating strong clinical skills in a complex care setting as part of an interdisciplinary team. You have certification in pain management and 18 months hands-on experience in a multi- or interdisciplinary setting providing treatments to clients experiencing a range of complex pain issues due to medical conditions, post-surgery recovery, or injury. You are open to working earlier or later in the day, and you can drive in your vehicle to locations up to an hour away from your home. Candidates from diverse groups are encouraged to apply.
